To unpack a snap-shot you will need the BZIP2 program.  See:

For rebuilding snapshots, several useful utilities (especially
automake) are available:

	ftp://sources.redhat.com/pub/gdb/infrastructure/
  and	ftp://sources.redhat.com/pub/binutils/

The following snapshots are available:

    current/		Taken from the head of GDB's mainline

For each snapshot, the following archives are made available:

    insight*		Contains the Insight weekly sources
    tcltk*              Contains Tcl/Tk/Itcl/Itk/Iwidgets sources (optional)
    *.tar.bz2		A bzip2 tar archive
    *-CVS-*.tar.bz2	Checkout of the CVS tree (made weekly)
			may be faster than `cvs -z9 co ...`

If you will be using your system- or vendor-supplied Tcl, Tk, Itcl, Itk, and
Iwidgets, you will only need the insight* archives. [NOTE: This is not
(well) supported on Cygiwn or Mingw. Use at your own risk. Patches welcome! :-)]
